Went to jump in the 90 earlier to pick my eldest terror up from nursery and not only did the battery run flat (again)

i noticed there is a nice puddle of landy blood under it...

Im guessing this is gearbox oil as EP90 is greeny.... i think...

Where do i need to check.... Could this coinside with my rumbling noise that i assumed was my transfer box?...

Err, that looks red to me mate?

Ep 90 that I use is just golden colour, but you can tell EP 90 by the smell, very distinctive. EP90 would be coming from transfer box.

I am guessing that is ATF, so it will be coming from the main gearbox. ;):)

Looks like ATF, as said, so either the main gearbox or power steering reservoir, pipes or pump.

Deffinatly gearbox.. haven't been under to see where from, might set it alight on my drive and watch the ####ing thing burn!!

Like i said, not ep90 so its gotta be gearbox oil as thats the colour that i put in it when i changed it last year...

ARGHHHHH

Although if this is whats causing the nasty rumbling noise ill be happy to sort it and be relieved that its finally sorted.

it wasn't that bad james...

Been driving fine, been sat on my drive a week or so, noticed that when i nipped out in it the other day it had lost its coolant while being sat, still haven't drove it then i noticed this underneath earlier...

The thing just breaks into bits all by itself lol

Been and had another look... it doesnt seem to be underneath the gearbox, or anything other than near the prop.... puzzled i thought what the ####...

heres the funny part....

at some point I was drilling my rear storage box in the back and i recall drilling into my gearbox oil.....

I think the oil on my drive is whats leaked from that tub and through my 90s tub hole onto the drive...

what a tit... ill investigate tomorrow after work.

It makes perfect sense... lol... well it doesnt but it does....

non under the gearbox at all.. i wondered why it had all ended up one end...

Now i can go back to wondering if a truck cab rear window is the same size as a van door.... hmm
