Just thought I would post this piccy for sh!ts n Giggles. = On the way back today - 40C and melting...
Anyway
- a shot of the 'family' . the bride - the freeby (needs washing ! - the freeby not the bride ).. the cat (Sally)... also - in the background - my special project division 3 wheel drive super off roader.... !!!!
A 25 year old Piaggo APE 50 in superb running order. Off road as it is literally - off the road as it is 300 mtrs from the gate of our farm..
It is sat on a slightly modified Jet-ski trailer (basically a sheet of MDF added to the trailer !.
Where we lived before it was superb, here, the farm track is too lumpy to drive down easily and the hills in and out are steep as feck !...
Lovely machine - just been fully minted up mechanically with total engine overhaul, suspension, brakes, cables, electricals etc etc etc .drives superbly - also has the fully removable back... Now, if you added a set of 17 inch M&S tyres all round and a turbo and way hey lol. (Joking !).. but, seriously, A lovely toy that has been mechanically brought back to new and is totally utterly original !. If some one should 'happen' this way with a tow hitch - it is on the trailer ready to go and enhance someone life - after copious amounts of hospitality and beer of course .................................
Trailer is even like new (and ce marked!) ... too much to do, so little time.......
Just got to remember not to drive it over an inspection pit lol
Here there is no tax, mot or license needed. Just thought I would post a piccy - of the 'family' apart form the Panda (Fiat) which is further up the track...
Imagine the rubber you could burn with the Piaggio lol
