After being off the road for about 6 months I've got my Series 3 up and running with a full MOT :)

Just before I blew the head gasket on the old 2.3 pug diesel engine that was in it, I was getting fed up with the lack of guts from the engine and lack of traction the tyres offered. I was getting stuck everywhere! My mates Suzukis used to run circles round me.

It's now a 200TDi, chunky Insa Special Tracks, 1 tonne lift shackles, I've tidied up the back and have mounted the spare wheel and bolted a tool box to the floor, got rid of the sponge that was in the front acting as a bench seat and fitted Dolomite seats and best of all I've bought and mounted a 12000lb winch to the front :)

It is a totally different truck to drive now. Plenty of balls in that 200tdi and plenty of grip with those Insa's and when I do eventually get stuck, as thats half the fun! the winch will sort me out :)

Just need another set of wings now, judged the strength of a 'few sticks' wrongly

I love it!

oooo.. lovely :) I have the same winch....plenty of power but just be careful not to overheat it........the motors fine but it can get so hot on long pulls it'll melt the insulaters.
What size are your boots?

265/75/16 the tyres are, everybody seems to have them round here!

I bust my rear diff out playing the other day, not to worry though, should have it sorted before the end of the week.

Smacked my crank pulley once but got 1 tonne shackles on it now and it seems to be fine :)

Was a bust half shaft not bust rear diff :p

looks very nice, you will find using special track you will blow your diff more often... less right foot now you have good tyres
