After being off the road for about 6 months I've got my Series 3 up and running with a full MOT
Just before I blew the head gasket on the old 2.3 pug diesel engine that was in it, I was getting fed up with the lack of guts from the engine and lack of traction the tyres offered. I was getting stuck everywhere! My mates Suzukis used to run circles round me.
It's now a 200TDi, chunky Insa Special Tracks, 1 tonne lift shackles, I've tidied up the back and have mounted the spare wheel and bolted a tool box to the floor, got rid of the sponge that was in the front acting as a bench seat and fitted Dolomite seats and best of all I've bought and mounted a 12000lb winch to the front
It is a totally different truck to drive now. Plenty of balls in that 200tdi and plenty of grip with those Insa's and when I do eventually get stuck, as thats half the fun! the winch will sort me out
Just need another set of wings now, judged the strength of a 'few sticks' wrongly
I love it!
