She has a 2 1/4 petrol that is getting rebuilt in the summer. Had to bin the spare wheel mounted bonnet as it was beaten up really bad. Painted myself with a soft roller over the last two days really chuffed at the outcome.:)

Nice job, looks smashing!

Im looking at rollering my 90 in the summer too, by the way what paint did you use and did you strip all the paint off and re prime, or just stip areas that had oxidised and bubbled the paint.

All i did was run the sander over her with 80 grit paper the wiped down and the painted with a radiator roller. The paint i used was from Paddocks and i olny used one tin.

looks good, i am prob ten years off painting my series2, farmer round the corner from me did a ser3 but painted it all blue, roof too, didnt look right for some reason, he's a tight git so it were prob so he dint have to but a tin of white as well ! looks a good finish for a roller, werit a sponge type gloss roller or the synthetic pile roller ?

I used the small Sponge type roller for radiators

I belong to another forum [not landys] that are just getting into roller painting. I can see the advantage for a landy as it's all flat panel but what about the quality of finish. Anyone tried Rust-oleum?

I'm thinking of using Tekaloid - i believe it is the best quality brush/roller paint available.

oh rite, did you get bubbles off the roller? when i use them on thinner paints gloss etc, it seems to get tinny little bubbles in the finish where the roller is squeezed, im not bothered on onther things , but if it effects the finish of your landy its a different story. as i say im years off painting mine, just interestin to kno, will prob spray mine as i have the room.
