well its around 40 years since I did any latin :D

managed to find a set of wolf rims for the s3 with g90's being sold by someone who was willing to post - well pallet and courier - 7.50's totally transform the look of a series imho. tyres could do with a wash but hopefully the rain will sort that out.

looks the mutts nuts now, hopefully will be able to paint the s3 if we get some sun and nothing major mechanical goes wrong

Paint works not too bad! Might be better to wait till next spring to paint? Lot of moisture in the air and temp has definitely dropped ! The wheels look good ive got Goodyear Wrangler 205 r16 on defender rims on my series 3, bigger tyres do make it look a lot meaner.

probably just the light marmaduke the pics were taken on different days, although the drivers door is a slightly different shade as it was swapped when the door top fell off, leaving the bolt bit that goes through to the bottom in place :D.

my old tyres were 205's chris but the rims were the narrow ones so I couldn't stick 7.50's on them, the wolf's are much wider (6.5 inch c.f. 5 iirc) my s1 has later 5.5 inch rims and also has 7.50's with the goodyear g90 tread. I agree it does make it look meaner.

probably will wait till next year to paint unless my hopes of a warm October and november come to fruition

its more the colour and the fact that the bulkhead is green and one doortop grey which means it needs the paint, and to cover up the chequerplate.

my daughter thinks the blue is **** :D so it has to be either navy blue or desert sand, I would fancy nato green but the s1 is that already.

I think steel landy wheels look best if they match the roof

mine came as silver, not overly keen on it but it does go with the bumpers and chequer plate on the wings, when the car gets done I shall do them white or limestone to match whatever I do the roof in.
