Hi everyone,

New here and may I say what a nice looking forum.

Here is my dilemma.

I run my own company fitting TV aerials and satellite systems, as its a small company I cant really justify running two vehicles - 1 for work and 1 for pleasure, Ive tried pretty much all the van options out there but have always struggled with rear seating for the kids.

Currently we are using a Nissan Navara which isnt too bad really it ticks all the boxes as in seating, 4WD (we live in the sticks) but I do struggle with the lack of height with the snug top.

So looking around at other options the defender looks viable - I know I can look around on line for reviews etc but thought I would ask here for your thoughts on its viability.

The 7 seats would be ace but then again no glass in the rear panels would also be nice. What should I expect performance wise both economy and general running costs and maintenance.

What should I look out for both good and bad?

Any comments or feedback is much apprecaited.

Thanks

Spend some time searching the past threads on here, there are probably hundreds of threads on this very subject with some good buying guides. If you have any specific questions then ask away, ;)
