Multi-lock does not unlock boot

Hi,
Our FL2 has stopped unlocking the boot when unlock on the key fob is pressed. This worked fine and seems to have occurred randomly!
Having switched from single to multi and back, unlocking for the other doors works as expected in both modes, it's just that to unlock the boot requires clicking the "boot unlock" on the key fob.
Any thoughts appreciated!

The boot only unlocks when told to by the body module. It's locked all the time, regardless of whether the car is locked or unlocked. If the car is locked, the BCM simply ignores the button on the boot handle, if the car is fully unlocked, the BCM applies power to the boot latch to release it.

If the catch isn't releasing when the boot button is pressed, but is when the key fob boot button is pressed, then the most likely cause is the boot switch in the handle.
If the boot doesn't release with the key fob either, then the fault can be in the latch or wiring, and sometimes the fuse too.
