Anyone got any ideas how to get dried mud out of mi 110 chassis?
It's set solid and startin to sprout green bits, could end up wi a tree inside the chassis:eek:

ull just have to keep the water going through so it softens up and then it shud start going! alternitivly go and see a local farmer and ask if u can use his steam deisel pressure washer there ****ing powerfull and will get rid of anything but dnt spray too close to paint cous it will come off!
of course u could buy one but there bout 1300£

Me brothers gor a steam cleaner, now can I shove it in the front somewhere and blast away until the mud/rust comes streaming out the holes:)

ill take some pics of my chassis for u 2moz and get back to you cous it may be that chassis are different. wat LR do u have?

Put corks in the big low holes along the length of it.

Put a schoosh of detergent into each side and fill with a hose.

Leave it to soften the mud for a morning then let it all drain out.

Park it on a hill or put blocks under the wheels then, keeping most of the corks in along the length of the rails now run a hose through it to wash the stuff out.

best way i find is get a long normal hose pipe feed it in in the hole at the front of chassis and you can with a bit of a wiggle feed it all the way back i find i can flush it al out that way

here are the pictures of the holes in my chassis, as i said mine may differ from urs but im pretty sure they should b the same.

it wont let me upload the pics but have look under ur landy and u will see them they are hard to miss
let me know how u get on
