Does anyone here use an MS509 universal fault reader or are they no use for a P38? Can't seem to find any reference in the search box.

The advertising blurb says "all vehicles post 1996" but, that is too general a term to convince a sceptic.

I have a generic obd fault reader aswell as a faultmate. It's important you realise that it will only read and reset engine related codes, it will not read the eas, hevac, airbags, cruise, gearbox, becm or any other system.

Kind of pointless for one of these big beauties then (have to say that in case they are listening). Just have to continue borrowing friend's Launch X431. Thanks.
