MPG 1.8 freelander

Hi all, Just fuelled my 1.8 freelander back up and i done 125 miles on £20 is that good? mainly by pass and A roads keeping it around the 50 mark on the by pass.

Eh?

All i do is service it regular and shove cab cleaner do the air filter to clean the injectors and use good fuel shell.

Ford musta put a 1.6 Xflow lump in it - to make it more reliable?

I can do 375 miles for £60 - £64 - I am lucky as my daily commute is along 60MPH country lanes. I can get a similar value on a motorway run, but the fuel consumption rises in start / stop traffic.

Assuming your paying around the average (£1.18ppl) then that works out as low 30s MPG which is about right.
