Well mine went though yesterday and No advisories :), but just make the matter worst on the brake light test the bloody top tail gate light pops and the test said oh well :)

this was a nice feeling after all the work I've done on clearing up the smoking issue,
set off new injectors
full oil and filter change 5w30 f/s used
fuel filter change and drained :)
new drop link bars

all this makes me happy.:)

nice one! mines back in tomorrow for a retest

replaced the following:
both front ball joints
both rear trailing arm front bushes
front pads
catalytic con
wipers
door mirror cover

plus plugs, rotor arm, distributor cover oil and filter for good measure. Hopefully it'll go through this time.......

well the new MOT inspections are out now, but i took the wifes last week but it would have past we did a lot to it,
renewed for of the 6 trailing arms and replace the bushes in the other 2 (the first 4 i got cheap) replace hand brake cables and rear shoes ,
replace disc's and pads, and got no advisories not bad for a 15year old car

Stop this talk of MOTs - mine is 4 months away and all you're going to do is give me sleepless nights, pacing the floor worrying. :p LOL

This is an annual hassle we could well do without - especially as they are regularly changing the rules.

However, congratulations - and good luck. ;)

Ha! mine failed on a front number plate being water damaged and the reflective film was dulled .
First thing since 2003

Dropped ours off this morning with 7 Litres syth oil and Mahl filter, with the service sheet for an A service and MOT. Collected this evening with new MOT, signed service sheet and stamped service book £150 all in - including a £9.59 bulb??? (they were all working yesterday?)
That's the 4th service and MOT for the FL at this tiny family run local Indi. They are thorough and honest folk, not many about like that anymore.
I'm sure they have washed it too!
They did our Defender and Disco MOT's for many years - they like to know their cars and appreciate well looked after motors. :crazy_driver:
