Well just dropped her off for her MOT, Wish me luck

dont think theres anything needs doing, i do have water leak from water pump which is scheduled to be done, and aquired a knock somewhere other than that alls ok..

Just want a nice MOT as its tax month for her AND the Disco

Water leak....... Arghhhh.... Fix it now not schedule it. Hope it ain't a k series. Hgf warning!

Good luck wiv the test though! :D

na its def not HGF its water pump iv had the housing off and found it,

na she failed, apparently ALL brake lines apart from under bonent have corroded, so there getting replaced, had to get garage to do it as i dont have time between now and when MOT was up :(

Now shes tested think shes goinf up for sale and time to get me another disco, 300 or TD5 lol

iv got a 300, and fancy another purely cos i can run her easily on veg oil.

but then i fancy a td5 something abit newer.

im fussy though or i will be on this, id want full leather, ideally heated, air con all mod cons basically lol..

my other is purely for off road so i want something for comfort, even toyed with an auto..

worst case iv even toyed with a pick up in a non landy way :S

Td5's are nice but not as easy to work on and not as hard wearing as a 300. Don't think they like veg oil either.
As for auto, my td4 is and I wouldn't go back to manual in a big car.
Problem is my little ford is a manual and I tend to forget to press the clutch after driving the auto :p
Mike

lol could be auto then

So had a call from garage, aparently one of the brake cylinders have fallen apart, and one of the rubber flexi hoses have cracked, so currently trying to find/fit these parts, may not get car back today after all...joy

got her back, there was a black freelander that came in after mine that also failed on brake pipes that was younger so im happy(ish)
