patch it up and waxoyl it good and proper. another 5 years minimum in that!
once you learn to weld the mot is no longer a worry!

Got some updates on this soon. It's amazing what you can do with a grinder, wire brushes, flap discs, reciprocating saws, mig welders, several ****ed up attempts and blutack.

Finally it's time for an update.

Where we left off was me, drive covered in rust that was once steel, chassis looking like something found on the sunken titanic, my arse twitching at the road ahead.

I had no welding skills at all and the nearest thing I have done that comes even close to this kind of work was replacing wheel bearings on a 1985 Mini.

So here we are now and to anyone that thinks they can't repair something then think again, if this spoon handed spunk monkey can do it so can anyone.

Took it for Mot Friday and it only failed on Bulbs (Sloppy) and 2 very small patches in need of welding/filling just before the rear crossmember :hurrah:
