L322 MOST system parts

Doesn't look a five minute job ....... Just whip the dashboard out . DohBest I can say is take it out and it will probably have a sticker on it.
Or perhaps ask at a dealer for a quote then snaffle the number from the parts guy.

MOST system rage continues. Touch screen replaced. Have Light at fiber optic cable to CD changer. If my research is correct this leads me to believe MOST head unit , touch screen both ok. CD changer stuck in and every few minutes keeps cycling like its trying to load/eject CD's. Could this fault with the CD changer cause the dreaded screen logo and orange flashy light? Never going to use CD changer so can I just buy one of the fiber optic bypass loops and remove CD changer? The next unit after the CD changer is the Module IBOC RADIO D430. Can anyone confirm this is under the passenger seat? RHD vehicle. Any Most system diagrams for the 2012 Vogue would be also greatly appreciated. Any advice would be great as the wife is on the cusp of ringing the dealership!!Will do I think .

I had only just got up and it was a bit deep (needs a few readings) so don’t worry

Hi @LANDYALI I'm no expert but I would start by going through the modules in turn to see which ones have light in the fibre optic cable. As you have already said there isn't any at the phone module I'd work back from that.
If yours are in the same order as in the manual posted by marjon then I'd start with either the portable audio interface (4) whatever that is or the DAB tuner (5) as they look relatively easy to get to and work on from there. I wouldn't rule out the CD player being faulty as the CD loading is probably something it will just do as soon as it's switched on, or the magazine is inserted. If you do find a module that has light going to it then move on to the next one until you don't, then go back to the previous one that did and stick in a bypass loop to identify that as the faulty module.
Don't forget to please let us know how you get on as it's always good to get closure on these faults.

In that dia between items 4&5 ,9&1 the little symbol does that represent a connector?
As obviously the change between both sets of modules is front to back of car.

no Idea where it would be though.Thanks for the response . Will crack on and try and bottom out. Need to order some fibre optic bypass loops . Anyone bought any that had success with? Cheers
Feel like I may be getting out my depth here a touch now ! So my motor definitely has the IPOD USB connection located in the central arm rest. Just a tad confused on what order on the most ring these sit or if at all ? In my limited knowledge it looks like the portable audio interface module (no:4 downstream of CD changer) links to the USB / IPOD connection in central arm rest. Does this mean on the MOST loop the IPOD/USB connection are just part of the portable audio module and do not sit separately on the MOST loop? Hope this makes sense. Sorry to be a pain but believe you have to remove passenger seat bolts to tip the seat away to get to the portable audio interface module, is this the case?
My 300 TDI tape deck was much less hassle.

I bought a couple of the ones pictured in the first comms PDF from my local landy garage that worked well but they are original LR ones so no idea where you would get them from.

The usb/ipod will be on copper cable so will likely connect to the portable audio module then get converted to send over the fibre.
If its an issue to get to that module move further back to the boot area as suggested by @backinblack
There's a few modules easy to get at in the same place.
Check the easy stuff may give you a clue as to where the light/signal stops before ripping out the interior
I know very little about it other than checking for a light, so I would be clutching at straws to even suggest anything it could be.

Sorry for delay but thought would get round to updating. Had cd changer removed and bypass fitted (as was stuck anyway). Worked backwards and found that the TV receiver was the offending article . The info above was brilliant thanks and anyone with similar issues in and around Hull area I have the number of a very good audio electrician who sorted this for a very very reasonable price . Cheers .
