Still sounds like a wheel wobble. I have it on this 90 smack between 50-60.

I have changed the front prop for a new one. My Landy guy stripped and checked the front Diff. We changed wheel bearings, he stripped the cv all appeared to be fine We also swapped his wheels over onto mine, no difference. I have Polly bushes, they all seem OK.

Nope, I have jacked it up and ran the motor with gears engaged and the wheels ran true. Plus I have ran it with a different set of wheels on it. It doesn't feel like a wheel wobble or tracking type of vibration. If you have driven a car with a UJ on the prop gone you will know what I mean, it's more like that.

Sorry to hear this guys. Looks like we are all struggling to get this one going.

Well I will make a final call when I get back from USA in February, I still have a list of things that have to get resolved (bring back Larry) and if I get these done I will go, but its 50/50. At worse I'd rather break down somewhere in Europe than Morocco because I'll get back free, so I may replan for somewhere else if I can't get the water issue (no puns please) resolved.

What have you done to try and resolve it so far? Is the system over pressurising? Water problems on a 200 tdi are normally quiet rare. I recently changed the rad and heater Matrix on mine. It still had the original ones on from 1990. Doubt the new ones will last as long.

Think I might consider one of these as my next vehicle for a Morocco trip

Must remember to camp well out of site and use a tree branch to wipe out the tyre tracks in the sand.

Don't worry Ken, with your navigation they would have no chance of finding you, or finding there way back.
But it was enjoyable.

I'm hoping I can be with you. My 110 is in the respray shop at the moment and has been for two weeks. I dropped round there the other day, they have hardly done anything, just removed the lights and snorkel.

I'm sick of this gloom too, looking forward to getting in to the dust and bright blue skies, I was talking to a chap in Germany last week about tires that perform really well in sand, he recommends the ones in the link as has used them in Morocco and Tunis a couple of times, I run a similar tire by Cooper, but is more mud orientated, but he says these are most excellent.

If you need tires before the trip these might be worth considering as they come in just under the BFG range which are now a bit crap due to noise level controls and seem to loose there tread quickly, unlike the older BFG's of three years ago that were excellent and never seemed to wear out.

No we did not - but then James you were leading most of the way. With you on the tyre front - put Discoverer STT tyres on.
