Hi all,just bombed down the m6/m5 from manchester to deepest dorset,you may have noticed me adding a little extra to global warming,yes that was me just in front of an intermittant cloud of black smoke(sorry about that),together with a strange (windy ?)noise and a very noticeable surgeing when the engine wanted some turbo.could this be a maf sensor problem or maybe a split or perrished hose or is my turbo about to empty my wallet? :mad: would appreciate any helpful input or suggestions.:confused: chris.
 
You might have answered your own question, it sounds like a split hose, the pressure from the turbo will be leaking from it causing the noise,
 
yup,thats what it was, top hose split & egr valve was coked right up,going great again now !thanks.
