Today I was messing about trying to get the rear windscreen wiper to work and accidentally shorted some contacts blowing fuse 18 (the one with the wiper symbol on the diagram under the steering wheel). replaced the fuse but after that there was no power going to the wiper relay.
I checked the relay still works by plugging into another socket so now i'm stumped as to why there is no power getting to the rear wiper relay coil when i press the 'on' switch on the dash. Any other fuses or something hiding I've missed? I tested every one I could see including the few under the bonet and they all seem to be ok.
Other problem, since owning this disco, the heater fan only works on setting no.4. I can hear a relay click for 1 - 2 - 3 but no motor noise until 4. Any clue on this one?
