Hi Guys

I have now managed to get my 2.5 DSE to run after doing an engine swap (had to bleed the injectors a lot), but now she won't rev at all. I am idling at about 600rpm, and when I push the accelerator pedal nothing happens, not even a 1rpm change.

Any ideas? I need this working by Wednesday as I'm going to Le-Mans on Thursday and would love to take the Rangy :)

Cheers
Dan :)

Throttle is fly by wire from position sensor on pedal to ECM. Think it needs to go on giagnostics.(copyright 2010)

I take it I can plug my P38 into a fault code metre then?

Dan :)

Sadly no, unless it is one designed to work with a Land Rover and they are serious money. The fault code readers you can buy for £50.00 won't communicate with the Land Rover system. Well not with the diesel they won't. Unless someone knows of one that will, but i don't.

no worries, contacted a mechanic friend who has a couple of thousand £ snap-on one which should work :)

Cheers
Dan :)
