Yup - they’re the fellas, Disco 1, Defender, Rangy etc...

OEM have the rattle cover that the socket fits over, but can corrode & swell. Decent aftermarket are One Piece - also available in black I hear.....
anyone know the part number, there appear to be several sizes?

The alloy mounts and locates slightly differently to the steelies, the alloys use the nuts to clamp the centre to the hub and this is where the flanged nuts come in as they give a greater clamping surface, the steelies use the conical leading edge to locate and provide the clamping area of the rim to the hub as the steel wheel has greater strength it isn't a problem.

RRD500560 should be the right ones, or at least the latest ones as they superseded ANR2763 as far as I know, I had to buy a couple to replace the ones I lost off my spare
