Hopefully somebody will have a suggestion! Just bought through a reputable auction a '78 diesel ser 3 lightweight, ex dutch army. It has lots of history and paperwork but cannot find anywhere on the vehicle to prove its ID. No VIN plate in the cab or under the bonnet. There is a spot where it looks like there was one under the bonnet on the bulkhead....
Perhaps there is somewhere a physical stamp in the metal either on the engine or chassis? The chassis is covered in thick anti-rust treatment so if i am to try to clean it off, getting a start on a location would be handy!!
