miss fire

Hi all
I have a 2011 Freelander 2 2.2 TD4, I am getting a intermittent miss fire when I pull at a junction or traffic lights, it does not happen all the time just now and again. When driving it runs fine, as stated just now and again when I pull up and the engine is idle-ling.
Can anyone point me in the right direction, I have checked it and it is showing no fault codes?

First thing is to change the crank sensor. It's cheap and easy to do, and is a known failure point, often giving misfires before failing completely. Only buy OE replacements though.

Thanks, I was thinking down those lines, just the fact that it runs so well and only now and again made me rethink
