In that case who ever did it did not know what they were doing. Bad compression, add oil to cylinder, if compression rises rings, if it stays the same valves.

I had a misfire and it turned out to be the lower inlet manifold gasket. There were no external indidications but when i removed and inspected the gasket there were leak tracks between cylinders.

ithink the manifold gasket was the only one that was ok but i just got cheesed off and got another engine.cheers for the input
