Mirror Rocker broken

Somehow the little white piece of plastic behind the mirror glass has broken, and I'm struggling to get the mirror glass back on.

Has this happened to anyone else, and if so how did you fix it?! I have tried Gorilla glue but it doesn't seem to hold enough for me to get the glass on.

Do you mean the piece of plastic that clips onto the rear of the glass and pushed in to a slot.
If so, if it can’t be stuck with Gorilla super glue then you could try and make one from a similar piece of flexible plastic.
Other than that, purchase an replacement glass as sometimes the item comes with the glass.

Its the diagonal piece of white plastic that acts as a rocker, it sits in the middle of the bracket that fits on to the glass but is fixed on the motor. I have included a reference pic, taken before the blasted thing broke.

Mine has snapped at the bottom right, in between the two silver screws where the hole is in the piece of white plastic.

Does it have to be plastic? Can you not replicate it in wood or metal?
There are shed-loads of glues on the market, epoxy adhesives etc, that will glue anything to anything, I'd go for one of those. Gorilla glue does not fix everything particularly not plastic.
In the past, for fixing plastic to plastic I have found the best thing is the glue plumbers use to stick plastic pipe together. But after a quick search it appears this is the stuff to use.

Thanks for your help Stanleysteamer - I left it overnight and it seems more secure...the mirror glass is now back on thankfully. I hate driving with a mirror missing!
