Military gearbox

I am thinking of buying an Ex Military Ninety with the extra low 1st & 2nd gear.
Unfortunately it may need a recon box. Does anyone know if they are available, or am I going to be stuck with standard civvy ratios?

Why not get the box reconed yourself? There must be some where near you that recons gearboxes.

Don't want the hassle of doing it myself at present, but yes, I'm just looking at all the options at present.

Ashcroft do all the bits you'll need if you do have it done. Or you could try Blanchards (Not the cheapest) for a replacement box..

is it a R380 short shaft? is there syncro in reverse?
