When your switch is on H.S.T you should have full beam on indicator stalk.
I find odd little electrical problems with mine like blown fuse, hazards failed due to earth running from switch (new wire now installed), horn failed due to dirty connectors once cleaned works fine, heater fan sitting in water once cleaned works like new. Your washers may just be a dirty connection somewhere.

Yea , I installed radio , the sirens , pilar lights and exterior cab lights are also switched , it's the dial I can't work out , think it has something t do with central heating , I can assure you it's military issue , it served in the Falklands.
