Hi all,
I am somewhat confused about the SIII exmod gearbox setup and how it differs from the civvy version. My Landy's a Norwegian 109 exmod FFR, bog standard with 2.25 petrol engine. I'm told the overdrive from Rockymountain drives will not fit the military gearbox.
However, a british Land Rover mechanic I spoke to this summer claimed that the number of military gearboxes with incompatible gears fitted in military Land Rovers is minute and that there is no difference for the bulk of military Land Rovers

Does anyone know more about this? And is there an easy way of checking if my gearbox is compatible with a RM OD?
