Hi there, I have a disco td5 2001 last week I had just over 158k on the clock, went out yesterday in it and it now says I've done 258k what's happened.

You pressed the dash button and changed it to Km not miles.

+1^^ what e said! (might say km if you look closely). Had you just reset the trip milometer? If you did that and held onto the button too long......
It MIGHT be in the manual.
