Hi, all
What sort of mileage should I expect from an SD4 XS 2011 diesel automatic? The computer says 34.5mpg average, just wondering if this is about right, or is there anything I could do to improve it. Driving is a mix of shortish journeys and longer ones.
Thanks

51mpg at constant 50mph ont cruise control ont motorway. Measured over 15 to 20 miles. Best I've ever seen

I bet everyone loved you - doing 50mph for 20 miles on a motorway. Hope you got a ticket for it.

The best mpg I've ever got out of mine was on a trip with a NZ Landie group. About 4mpg better than I've ever had before - that was because I was following a Tratter the whole way

50 Mph on the M5 is a common speed, normally in the middle lane too.
I came across some doing 30 Mph on the inside lane of the M5 back in October. I couldn't believe how slow they were going, but I suspect they weren't pulled over.
Speeders get more attention from the police than slow drivers or middle lane hoggers, both of which are more dangerous to other drivers IMO.
