I think i might have discovered where one of the oil leaks are on my Disco 1, it's a 300TDI engine, i have added a pic, as i'm not too familiar with the names of the parts, but i think it's coming from two of the injectors, would this be an easy fix, or is it going to be pricey, i have seen the copper washers for the injectors not sure if this is the solution, or are any other parts needed, but if it's something simple to do, is anything else involved, like bleeding any of the fuel system?

I have the same problem with my 300tdi the same injectors appear to be leaking causing diesel to run down the block cleaning it it goes and leaving a nice oily mess on the floor. I'm not sure how to solve it either tbh, I was thinking of getting some sealing washers thought i saw them at paddocks but can't find them now!

Sorry I cant be more help but I share ur pain!

Cheers Matt

someone mentioned on the forum when i did a search about, the leak off pipes going brittle (think it was Paul D's post) but if it is them they must be leaking from the back, seems like they are quite dry though.

got mine from ebay jgs 4x4 about 30p each i think, looks easy enough to do too, as long as you can get the injectors out, might need a slide hammer, and thread adapter if they are gunked up in there, but apart from that looks ok to do :)
