Hi All,

Going on holiday to mid wales next week, and found what looks like a couple of interesting lanes? They are called Bron y foel which leads onto Pont Scethin which are apparently part of on old Harlech to Dolgellau route.

Point is, anyone ever drove them, and how easy are they? Will be taking the shiny disco with the family, and don't want to get stuck so looking for easy but interesting lanes in the area. All advice most welcome, or if you know of any easy but stunning view lanes in the area please let me know. I have no problem with scouring maps etc, but you can't beat first hand experience of a lane for information!

thanks in advance

Alan

Yes I did although due to the lack of local bods I had to be careful as I was out alone.
But I did do some crackingly good lanes around Torbay and Dartmoor.

I'll definately be putting a trip together for the Mid Wales Offroaders to do.

To be continued....

I done a few on my own, then i emailed a couple of local clubs and a guy very kindly took me around for best part of the day. His os map of south devon was covered in highlight pen of places to drive, I think i might still have his number sure he would point you in the right direction. Check out some vids i took. The link is in essex lanes thread. if you do arrange something I would'nt mind tagging along.
