Melted coil pack

Had me p38 looked at today me mate says the coil pack has melted a bit and causing a mis fire on 1 & 5, Is this common on p38's? what can cause it top melt? best price i got on coil pack is £135+ vat at paddocks and best price on the cats at indy is £165 anyone know anywhere cheaper?

I have both those bits if you need them off a 1997 4.6 HSE GEMS engine

motor has done about 70K

Got blown cylinder liners, looking to transplant a diesel. so if you know of any going for salvage as a complete motor

SO all petrol bits are available for sale
