Max. speed on td4

Dear td4 users,

I need your help to make sure my fl is ok.

Finally, I tested my 02 fl td4 on motorway yesterday. I reached maximum speed 140 km with 3200 rpm. Is it normal? or do i have any problem ?

Anybody has idea about this problem.

What do i need check?

My FL was very slow before, but MAF Sensor and turbo changed last week.

think the problem he is referring to might be your owning a freelander. Still happy with mine (td4 auto), can nudge just over 100 mph with mine (102 by tom tom speed)

Sounds like you have a problem. My 2003 TD4 Manual comfortably does 115mph (indicated) which is about 180kph. Does it rev cleanly up to the red line in other gears?

Sits better at 90 than 80,so she says.Would not like to go much faster or will have to go back to my MR2 days.TD4 auto the way to go.

the higher up, the more inaccurate the speedo, mine over reads by 10mph at 100 plus (so I've been told, never done it myself, honest), comparing speedo against tom tom
