I'm no expert but that sounds like gearbox to me.i need to rev it up quiet high before it will start to move so maybe it is the brakes binding?

Jack both wheels on one axle and see if they are free to turn.oh that doesn't sound good!

When I first got mine it was a bugger pulling away in reverse from cold. New fluid in gearbox, transfer box and diff sorted it.Thanks,will try tomorrow, hopefully not the gearbox.
Wouldn't he get an engine light?It could perhaps also be in limp mode.
