Mastercraft Courser MT tyres? Any good?

Just seen some 235 85 16 mastercraft courser MT tyres for sale. says there brand new and for only £100.....

anyone used these? any good? done a search but cant find anything usefull other than some tyre pressure questions.

bought my D90 with 35x12.5x15's hankook dynapros but wanting a smaller tyre so i can have my steering lock back and fit thru tight gaps!!

any thoughts???
 
Jason used to have 265/75/16 insa dakars on the 90 before he bought my hankooks of me

I find them no different than the BFG Muds.

Here are my spare set, they stand over 32 inches.

265 x 70 x R17 (Not on a LR)

They even have the stud receptacle holes.

thats what i thought too, but they were **** in the deep snow we had last week, my father in law had much more grip with his little 205's and laughed at me in his ****ty old jap pickup........ not happy:crazy_driver:

a lot of driver error i get about very well on my mts out here infact i have only been stuck twice in the snow with them both driver error the first drifting side to side and over shot it a little bit and slid in the ditch the second mucking about in my back garden i drove through a snowdrift only to find that said snowdrift was about 3 feet deep and i was not going anywhere but providing you use your head and dont drive fast its not to much of a problem on mts on compacted stuff they are really good (i found out g90s are crap going up a 13% gradient and slid back down it in low box all 4 wheels spinning and my 2a pulled it and itself up that hill with a set of kuhmo kl71s on
 
i was using muds in the snow the other week and didnt have any problems pulling cars out etc the only time i had an issue was pulling a sainsburys delivery van out of a ditch and then i had to attatch the back to a tree and just winch it out.

Hmmm, dowt it. I drive his pickup all the time and have never got stuck. also had 235's on my disco and have never got stuck. done 4 ski seasons driving in snow in a RWD van so I no what I'm doing! Them 12.5's would be ok in deep fresh snow but are **** on compacted stuff on a road they don't put enuff pressure on the road to get grip....
 
My dad uses his dynapro mt's in the winter and has done for the past 4 years, o pt ever had slight issues with ice on gradients and 2.5 tonne dead weight load, otherwise they are good in the snow

I'm not slagging MT's in the snow, just the fact that mine are 12.5in wide! I have 235 dyna pros on my work pickup and they're ace. Wish I not bothered sayin anything now!!
