massive signatures

Is there any way I can alter my settings so as not to be able to see peoples signature?
The main reason I'm asking is that there are some peoples signatures that take up half a page so I'm scrolling down and down and down and still on their bloody signature!
If they want useless ****e after every post they make then fine but if I could be able to alter some setting so I don't see it that would be great cheers

Go to

user cp (top left), click on edit options on the left, scroll down to near the bottom and untick the box that says show signatures.

Job done.
