Is there a way to manually lift the air suspension on a 97 HSE?
After having my local garage were suppose to fix it the front driver side is on bump stop again. Is there a way to run compressor to fill the bag? I am going to have to drive it about 40 miles tomorrow to collect parts for it and its really uncomfy even with just one of the bags flat?

The compressor is weak and suspect that the front driver side bag is leaking?

Any help is great

Here's what you want:

Land Rover AIR SUSPENSION valves Range Rover EAS repair on eBay, also, Range Rover, Car Parts, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 26-Oct-08 09:08:01 GMT)

I doubt you'll be able to get it in time for tomorrow unless you ring them directly.

The principle is pretty simple, you need to be able to fit a tyre-type valve onto the relevant pipe so you can manually inflate it. Maybe you can put something together in the shed with a standard push-together pipe fitting, a tyre valve, some rubber hose and a couple of jubilee clips (or araldite) ?

Driving on the bump-stops can damage the bump stops so getting some air in there would seem to be a good plan, but if the bag is leaking, the air will just leak out again, so........
 
thanks for the help mate. won't be able to get these for tomorrow as i'm stuck in work. Is there no way to run the compressor at all?
 
Pull out the EAS delay relay under the LHF seat.Next look at the pipes coming out of the side of the valve block.There are 4 together,red,blue green etc - these are the pipes to the 4 corners,depress the metal ring around the pipe and pull it out.Use an airline on the pipe to inflate the spring,when its up quickly shove the pipe back in the block.Do this for whichever springs are flat and you are away.You'll lose a bit of air when you shove the pipe back in and the car may be lop sided - but it will be off the bump stops and the relay being out will stop the ecu from dropping it.Ignore the EAS beeping etc,just drive it.
 
has anyone made there own cable as don't want to have to wait for one to be sent? or is there a diagram or something? I can use reference to to put ob2 wires to the correct connector?
