Main message centre not coming on?

Can anyone help please L322 main message centre gone off, so no information or milometre showing, also no indicator flashing or ticking, but indicators still working? this has happened 3 or 4 times but always came back on within a day or 2? But this time off for over a month, can anyone explain plese? thank you

Check Fuses and multiplugs to the binnacle would be my first checks....

Indicator tell-tales I believe are driven by the LCM telling the Intstrument Pack to flash the tell-tale lamps....

The LCM also holds a copy of the mileage information as well as the Instrument Pack....

So check the fuses, and check the plugs to the binnacle and LCM....

Other than that it has been known for the illumination bulbs to fail behind the Message Centre, and even for the message centre pixals to fail....can be repaired by a company who I can't remember!!

All the stuff in the rear quarter getting wet can also affect it.

+1 I had this happen to me due to Ibus fault cause by water in rear quater, came up on diagnostics as Ibus fault on instrument cluster. But was caused by water ingress in the rear , have a look at the thread
