hi,just got some driving lights i have fitted them but having problem trying to find colour wire to connect to main beam any ideas thanks andy

What car? There may be differences in the wire loom depending on the model.

Highly unlikely as most car wiring harnesses have to meet BS-AU7a 1983

You could always disconnect the plug that goes onto the light bulb and use a multimetre to see which terminal becomes live when you put the high beam on.

hahahahahahahahaha pikey have you ever worked on an italian car???? i worked on a box fresh fiat teapot and one wire changed colour from one end of the car to the other

ffs the BS number goes back to 1983 it may well have superceeded an earlier BS number. I think it's safe to assume a few cars have been made in the UK since then.

thanks m8,will have a go this weekend. then have ago at the three amigo,s syndrome, was fine till mechanic did fullservice took all wheels off, the joy,s of being a freeby owner.

He may of dislodged or damaged one of the wheel sensors, there are quite a few threads on these and there symptoms.
