Hi guys,

ill start by telling you some of the cars ive had so far, my first was a 1.25 fiesta

car1004.jpg

then i got myself a little puma and modded that

here are a few of the puma:

P1010107.jpg

Then got a 206 2.0 hdi which ended up looking like this

So Ive gone for a 04 plate Land Rover Freelander 2.0 TD4. I know the freelander doesn't have the best reputation but I love it! Its not too bad on fuel, not as good as the 206 but is a lot better than the puma was. Got a few things planned for it along the way.

Day I picked it up

First mods included
Led bulbs
6000k HID
Black and Silver Land Rover badges off the Range Rover Sport
Painted rear drums black
Fly eye front and rear lights
Fitted new speakers as old ones were blown
IO Play hands free kit
Pictures with the roof off

So I fly eyed the front and rear lights and also fitted pressed number plates.

Also took the lettering off the bonnet

Bought 5 off-road tyres on steel wheels for £55 for the set, all types have at least 10mm on them, so a steal at that price!

Roof had to be off

Fitted some side bars

And some stickers

cb radio arial mount fitted behind spare tyre

Picked up a dog guard

The snow arrived in scotland

Picked up a roof rack for £5 which I'm currently modding

Then fitted a 32inch CREE LED roof bar

and fitted some spot lights to the bumper

currently waiting for some new bulbs to arrive for them!

Also picked up a bull bar which I've got to fit, along with soft top which needs some repairing to it.

Feel free to comment away!

just hope u wasn't think I was being rude in any way in mentioning the bits

funny enough the egr bypass does make a difference

nice to see another freelander owner, know they get some stick but very capable off road

Hi Mada. Ur Freebie looks badass, it looks like u picked up a good-un, nice paint, and I like where ur going with it styling wise. Keep posting the pics :)

nice pictures. on you led light bar did you take the head lining down to mount it and run the wire. if so how easy/hard was that to do as ive got a 2 foot led light bar to go on 5 door freelander Kalahari one
thanks

Thanks for the good feedback guys,

Yea I removed the headlining to route the wires, just undo all the fixtures, eg sun visors and grab handles and interior lights and it'll just pull down. I put the wire between the two roof skins, and along down the a pillar. It was dead easy to drill the holes, just make sure you do your measuring first as you can't go back after!

Yea they are 6000k, I have them in my dipped and high beam. Had them in now for 6 months. With no issues. They take maybe 5/10 seconds to 'warm up' to their full brightness but apart from that. No issues at all!

Just finished fitted the bull bar along with a square number plate, will post pictures later once ive got some good ones, will be fitting new brakes tomorrow as my pads are well and truely dead!
