From using the search button etc, I've gathered that a few people have turned their own spring spacers, I'm thinking of making some for my 200 disco since I'm about to stick some 235 85s on (I know all the tyre implications :p).
Would anyone be able to very kindly give me the dimensions of the spacers they've made? An engineers drawing would be smashing! :D

Cheers ducks!

Yes.

If I were making spacers, I'd take off the spring holders on the axle, they're like large washers, and use them to get dimensions .. then the length or height of spacer is up to what you want!

Yeah, that's what I was thinking, no need fannying with the base or retainer, just a big spacer inbetween and some longer bolts. I'll show you all pictures once I'm done at some stage!
