td5 (03) 24mpg.
mixed roads never above 75mph or 3k rpm.
tyres 40 psi rear 36 front.
no tow.

trying for the 30mpg first option is to keep wife out of driving seat i think. ;)

thanks for the tip yella.

thought 45 might be a bit high as i am running above the handbook settings now.
there is rarely more than three in the vehicle with an empty boot as it is.

Just worked mine out today, was that bored - 31.25 MPG over 300 miles 150 of motorway, and 150 of town driving

Not bad i didnt think.

I'm getting about 32 > 33mpg average over the last 2 months, using about a tank full a week, only dropped below 30mpg once. Even towing 700kg's of trailer for 200 miles on the last tank I still got the high side of 32mpg.

Bloody ell. I think i better get a disco, cos i just calculated my fuel consumption around town at 12.8 mpg. Thats bad, even for a 17 yr old 2.5DT 90 with a heavy footed driver. on the open road it'll do 25-30mpg, but thats at a near constant 50mph!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
