lubes needed

hi guys first time going to do my own service on my 90 300tdi
my q is what fluids and types and quanties do i need anyone know ie
oil
brake/clutch fluid
ps fluid
and filters would help

Hi , Have you got a electronic copy of the RAVE manual or even a Haynes manual , it shoudl all be in there.

Don't forget your swivels and nipples

Carrier bag, to catch the oil that runs out of the filter as you remove it!

oh yeah could also do the one shot kits

What about all the other fluids,

Tbox, engine, gbox, diffs.

Swivels, you would need to check if it has level plugs or not, otherwise you could dump too much one shot into them.

Check and if still plastic , change your coolant bleed plugs for brass ones.

Don't forget pas, there is not chance it is not leaking and the level is correct.

I am assuming the service interval on a 300tdi is the same as my 200tdi at 6k. If so quantities required are lots as if you do any milage at all you are likely to be servicing it every 6 months or less, so far better to order large quantities (cheaper) and have it on the shelf for regular top ups and future servicing.

you can do it neilly i am peeded of at mo with caliper problems and dont ant to look at it with cut knuckles and a bruised head
