hi there i am rebuilding a 90 i have a lt77s gearbox but i have never herd of this before any info on this box would be great it is the S that i dont understand,,,

how do you know its an lt77s , lt77s is just a h suffix lt77, main difference is compound baulk rings on 1st and 2nd gear which is often a weakness compared to the g suffix, more care needs taking when rebuilding one compared to the others

It definitely is an S box, It's stamped on it. Is it a good box?

not by lr , the only identification by lr is h at end of serial number
i cant tell from here whether its better or worse than another lt77

depends on the prefix or type/fitting of the h suffix boxes but defenders discos and rrc
