LT77 Gearbox Reverse Light issue (Not switch)

Hi all,

I'm looking for a little help or direction.

I have a LT77 gearbox that's fairly tight and in goo condition. I have one small issue...

When I put the gearbox into reverse, the reverse light comes on as it should but then goes off. If I put my hand on the gear lever and and apply slight pressure in an outward direction the light stays on, when I remove my hand the light goes off.

I have adjusted the switch and it made no real difference, all it did was block the gearbox from going into reverse.

What can I do guys, I really do not want to have to drop the gearbox out. Has anyone encountered a this issue or something similar?

New switch?

Ok, I thought it could be a gearbox issue, the switch looks like it was working fine.

Was onto Paddocks and they wanted mental money for a switch for a LT77 box. Any suggestions where to get replacement?

switch is in the gear box top so it isnt going to be a box issue, it will be switch but dont wind in too far only just so it works as it will restrict the amount rev idler slides into mesh prc2911 is switch number
