I've got a bit of play on my LT230 input gear, to stop it getting worse and to bide me some time I'm looking to fit an oil feed plate and new PTO cover. However I can't seem to find an oil feed plate in stock anywhere (Ashcroft online store says out of stock).

Does any know where I can find one?

Cheers

ive got a few but you either have to drill out the center of the spigot or cut threads off mainshaft, if you have suffix c or later t/box better to fit a cross drilled gear

I've got suffix b, I have seen other threads where people have just reversed the plug on the PTO cover which then allows to fit.

Do you have the covers as well?

youve lost me with that, you either have to drill or cut as far as i know, i would have a cover id think, i ve collected quite a few oil thrower plates whilst rebuilding t/boxes, common fit to early r380 which had no threaded spigot on end of the shaft

I've attached a pic I found, some of the aluminium cover plates have a bung/plug in the middle. Are your ones solid?

I fitted one to mine which is a L230 on the back of LT77, it went straight on without any fuss. Do I need to check for problems, or is the issue with R380 boxes?

lr made the oil thrower plate for r380 boxes they dont have a threaded spigot on the rear of mainshaft, so pate fits as designed
if you want to fit an oil thrower plate to an lt77 you either have to cut mainshaft thread off or as ashcrofts do modify the plate by enlarging the hole in the center so thread can fit into it

Thanks for the reply, mine came from Ashcrofts, so hopefully it was modified by them.
