lr2 locks and windows

hi guys,

my 2010 freelander has started or rather stopped locking the doors .
the drivers side window control for windows and child locks only work when door is open,
after parking up and using key fob to lock doors all seems well but drivers door and rear kerb side door can still be opened setting off alarm.
the other 3 windows work going up and down fine only the drivers window not working when driving. also the controls for mirror ajustment not working when drivers door closed.
has any one else had this problem and know how to fix?

Sounds as if the wiring to the door has an intermittent connection problem - that's where I'd start looking

For the other doors not locking I suspect a faulty latch

Is it still within its 3 year warranty period?

3 year warrenty has just run out,
i messed around with windows the other day and gave the rubber cable cover that goes between door and car a squeeze, as if by magic the windows work when the doors closed, must be a loose connection, no signs of any damage apparent.
dont know about doors yet, phoned my local landrover guy and hes never had any others in with this problem,
i dont know how i put up with landrover, i had a disco 3 and changed for lr2 because of this kind of fault, its very frustrating.

When did warranty expire and where are you located?

Might be worth asking local dealer for goodwill?
