Currently interested in newer LR (to S3) like 110 model. I have 3 LR 109 S3, but they all pickups. Now I am interseted in 110 4-door model so that I can use it for family tranportation (can put bed at the back so that my children can sleep there on long journey).
Is 110 worth the buy? Is there any problems with 110? I have heard that the gearbox is somewhat soft, compared to 109? Is it true?
I am interested in 2500cc diesel engine. Can I fit diesel 300TD from newer model LR or from Japanese diesel engine to 110 original gearbox? Is 300TD a good engine?
Has anyone done this sort of things?
Have heard of KBX model. What are they? Any good? Bad points?
