Put this in under its a V8 Mate...lpg problems but looking at it its all old stuff. I have a problem with a Nicholson MacLaren LPG set up in my Disco V8. If anyone out there has the same set up please have a look and see if you can help. I have just transplanted a new engine into my disco V8 3.9 year 2002.
We connected the Nicolson maclaren lpg set up in this was fitted about three years ago by the last owner. Runs rough!!! Have discovered a control unit with vacuum pipes one pipe goes to the inlet manifold with a T junction other end goes to control module next to the regulator. Where it comes out of this control unit... vacuum pipe going to inlet manifold... is another outlet with no pipe, but a smell of gas! Anybody with this same LPG set up know what this is for... or where it goes. It could just be a breather on the vacuum module and maybe the unit is faulty. Any ideas greatly received.
