hi
just bought a 2004 vogue 4.4 80000 miles full service history, starts runs with no problems, theres a lpg system fitted its a ac stag 300-8isa all runs good no problems, changes over from petrol to lpg after warm up (50 degs c) but when stationary, revs very low on tic over and tries to cut out,??, only happens on lpg ,any one got any ideas what the problem is the lpg kit has been fitted 14 months, have recipt and certificate, does the lpg kit need looking at? any good lpg places in birmingham / solihull
thanks

Your lpg idle mixture may be running a touch lean, don't know about a cold vapouriser, mine has worked down to -11 outside temp (that leaves ice on the lpg tank). Have you had your system serviced, it needs doing annually. I don't know lpg fitters in the birmingham area, sorry

vapourisers are fitted all over the place depending on the fitters mood, typically its roundish, has two water pipes going into it.and can have one to two gas pipes coming out of it with filters in them going to injectors on top of the engine.or you can post a picture of your engine bay(with the engine cover removed)and i will point it out.ps,ambient temperature has bu**er all to do with vapouriser temp.:)

get the lpg seviced..proberly running too weak on tick over..

it has filters and the like as petrol system does..
